Content Importing and Exporting
The promise of a matter-centric Autonomy WorkSite environment is that it should increase organizational efficiency and staff productivity by making content accessible, relevant, and organized. Ultimately, your matter-centric environment should serve your clients better by getting information to them faster and more cost effectively. It should be liberating.
Unfortunately, many firms face challenges in content presentation, preservation and proliferation. Often difficulty arises in accommodating the needs of different users or groups, and their competing desires of how they wish to view and manage their content. For others, systems performance and security management suffer with an abundance of duplicate information, taxing processes for fault tolerance, and mobile group management.
Importing content that comes with lateral hires can be challenging for many firms. Additionally, providing departing employees with content pursuant to client requests can also be difficult to manage.
DocAuto makes managing your content easy with fast, powerful and easy-to-use tools that adapt WorkSite to meet your needs. Whether it's getting the content into WorkSite or out of WorkSite, our products can assist you with your import/export products in a timely and efficient manner.

WorkSite Exporter™ makes exporting WorkSite documents and their structures, security, history, and metadata fast and easy. Whether dictated by mobile or remote groups, mergers and acquisitions, employee exit policies, off-line archiving, e-discovery, or other needs, this powerful desktop product is an add-in to the DeskSite
or FileSite clients that can be distributed to selected users or system administrators.
WorkSite Exporter now includes the WorkSite Exporter Command Line Utility, which is a stand-alone executable application that can run exports without using DeskSite or FileSite, or be used with the DocAuto Server platform. This application quickly exports content and reproduces WorkSite structures to a specified location. WorkSite Exporter Command Line Utility allows exports to be driven using a combination of pre-set configuration information, command-line parameters, or data driven queries that can be integrated with any kind of external application. Exports can be automated to run on schedules, or be chained from other DocAuto Server Module jobs in order to perform exports as part of a workflow process. Each export can also notify predetermined users when the job has completed.
WorkSite Organizer for ShareFile
WorkSite Organizer for ShareFile® is an add-in to iManage DeskSite or FileSite that provides WorkSite users with quick and easy ways to exchange iManage documents with the Citrix ShareFile® system. Citrix ShareFile users can now browse, upload, and send WorkSite documents to ShareFile while in any document view in DeskSite, FileSite, or the iManage integration dialogs.
iImport™ is the most powerful tool for importing external content directly into WorkSite and provides automated or on-demand job options and workflow processing capabilities (in matter-centric or classic mode). Whether you are migrating from a different content management system, no system at all, or you’re processing large volumes of new content – iImport makes importing fast and easy.
With iImport, you can even use data-driven methods to create branching workflow processes that determine where to place content, set metadata, security, and more. Whether you are importing or converting a large amount of data for a one-time migration, or addressing ongoing needs for importing documents from new attorneys or offsite trial teams, iImport is the best tool for the job.
iImport Desktop™ is an add-in to iManage DeskSite or FileSite that allows users to quickly and easily import content, preserving organizational structures if desired, from native operating system folders and subfolders directly into WorkSite. The program features an easy-to-use Windows Explorer-like interface that is simple and intuitive for users.
With iImport Desktop, users can extend the native FileSite/DeskSite import capabilities on their workstations to import multiple documents or entire folder structures at once. The product includes document filtering capabilities, and the ability for administrators to limit where content can be imported. For example, eligible “targets” for import operations can be restricted to WorkSpace-centric locations, such as WorkSpaces, Tabs, or WorkSpace Folders, or expanded to include non-WorkSpace centric locations, such as the root of a WorkSite database, or “legacy” Folder structures.
