Taking it on the Road
At the beginning of March, I will embark on a road trip to Australia and Asia to give several presentations on “Adding Great Value to Your WorkSite Environment.” I will be presenting some of the cutting-edge techniques and concepts available to implement, maintain, and optimize workspace-centric architectures in WorkSite. We are working with our reseller in Australia and Asia,
Office Information Australia, to bring information on DocAuto products to WorkSite clients in that region. I am very excited about the opportunity to meet and talk with folks in that area of the world. More information about registration, locations and dates can be found on our
website.

Reporting Server Re-Launched
After a few years on the back shelf, DocAuto’s
Reporting Server product is back with a vengeance. Completely rewritten and updated using state-of-the-art APIs, our first Web-based Service-Oriented Architecture Platform application is now available again. Version 3.0 has significant improvements over the prior versions, and will be dovetailed into a growing suite of DocAuto Web-Based applications over the course of 2010.
Reporting Server is a web-based reporting system for displaying information from WorkSite, or WorkSite data combined with data from other systems. This product can help you track how well your matter-centric environment is being used, including which users or groups need training, for insight into the business areas you need to illuminate. This powerful, flexible tool offers a range of useful pre-built reports, as well as fully customizable reporting (and design) tools that can combine WorkSite data with data from other systems. Users can run reports themselves from the secure web interface, and export the data to a variety of different formats. Contact
DocAuto Sales for additional information or a demo.

Tips & Tricks: WorkSpace Manager – Pick Up Where You Left Off
Did you know that WorkSpace Manager can continue where you left off if you stop a job for any reason? By using the option to "Skip x Records" of the primary query’s recordset on the main input tab in WorkSpace Manager, you can have a job start up again at a particular point in the process.
When a job has been stopped for any reason, simply open the WorkSpace Manager job logs, and check the last record number that was processed. An example of the log entry might be, “Processing Record 1 of 10.”
Record this number and place it in the "Skip x Records" section to continue your job right where you left off. This is very useful in situations where:
